On January 11, 1990 Mrs. Coretta Scott King; actor, John Amos, "Kunte Kinte" in
"Roots"; and "Behold" sculptor, Patrick Morelli, unveiled the ten-foot, bronze "Behold"
Monument overlooking the tomb of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the King National
Historic Site in Atlanta, Georgia. A monumental casting of the "Behold" infant—taken
from the same mold used to cast the ten-foot "Behold" monument—is in the permanent
collection of the Smithsonian Institution's American Art Museum in Washington, D.C..
